Goat Milk Soap
Ingredients:
Palm Kernel Oil - Produces a hard bar which holds its firmness throughout use. Also lathers well in all kinds of water.
Soybean Shortening - Promotes mildness and a stable lather.
Olive Oil - Very mild. It attracts external moisture and holds it close to the skin forming a breathable film to prevent moisture loss. Does not block the natural functions of the skin.
Coconut Oil - Produces a hard soap with quick, fluffy lather.
Fresh Goat Milk - From our own herd of goats or a local dairy; a rejuvenating and gentle moisturizer.
Sodium Hydroxide (lye) - the alkali.
Sweet Almond Oil - An excellent emollient. It softens, soothes and conditions skin.
Spring or Distilled Water
Fragrance and/or Essential Oils
Some bars contain additional nutrients:
Ground oats and herbs as exfoliants, spices as colorants, honey for added moisture.
